A new official IDNR Grass Carp record was set by BAI member Jacob dupes with this 33.7lb fish taken from the DesPlaines river in northern Illinois. Jacob used a Muzzy gar tip and had great results, penetration and holding power, on this big fish that towed his boat around for about 15 min before he was able to gaff it. The IDNR bowfishing records program is now in its second year.
