My first bowfishing trip. I stuck this nice carp and made the mistake of grabbing the line with my bare hand. Of course, I got a nasty burn and promptly let the line go. That carp wrapped that line through a tangle of brush and brambles that were as thick as the fleas on a cur dogs' back! A group of people on a pontoon nearby started making bets as to whether or not I would get the fish in. I took that as a challenge, and got out of the boat and waded through the brush to get to the fish. The MUZZY held tight, and I got my first big fish with a bow! You should have seen the looks on the faces of the group on the pontoon when I pulled that big carp out of the water! All in all, it took me about 45 minutes to get to the fish, and get it untangled.
