AUSTRALIA – New South Wales

This past week I also had the opportunity to find some days on the south coast of New South Wales hunting Rusa deer. As the rut was drawing to an end, I was still hopeful to encounter some vocal stags intent on making their presence felt. We walked the hills pretty extensively and in the end I was fortunate enough to take a couple of stags. After 4 straight years of chasing Rusa deer, I have had some tough hunts in pursuit of a representative stag. Luckily on this occasion the hunting gods were on my side and in the end I was able to take a couple of great 25" stags. As previously the MX Phantoms performed great, like always!
