I was hunting in my treestand for a big Whitetail buck I have on my trail camera, but at about 11:00 I was ready to head down for lunch. That's when I heard a soft bull elk bugle, so I thought to give it about 15 min. About 3-4 min later a 3 pt showed up, then shortly after a spike bull. I thought well the season it almost over I'll see what they are going to do & shot one if they give me a clear shot. watch ing them feeding slowly towards my area, I heard branches breaking, I turned & looked behind my stand & 10 more elk were coming in, 2 were nice bulls. I stopped watching the 3pt & spiker focusing on the 2 bulls. After about 20 minutes the lead cow elk brought the 2 bulls right to me, giving me a 12 yd shot. Another great muzzy moment.
