My best friend (Phil) and I were out bow hunting when we glassed up a heard of 18 - 20 Javelina. We were able to stalk to within 20 yds of the heard, feeding. I told Phil that I get the first shot because back in August 2009, we both came to full draw on a Mule Deer buck and I was less than a second from releasing my arrow, when I heard the "hollow pumpkin" sound of a 100g Muzzy 3-Blade slamming into the vitals of this Buck -Phil shot first........still haunts me to this day!
While we were trying to decide which Javelina to shoot, the mass feeding pile creating target acquisition issues, this sow turned from the feeding pile, quartering away until she gave me a perfect broadside shot. I do not remember releasing the arrow, but the "thwack" from the 100g Muzzy 4-Blade slamming passing behind the right shoulder and into the left shoulder, immediately breaking it, will not ever be forgotten. I later determined that before the 100g Muzzy 3-Blade broke the Javelina's left shoulder, it has completely severed the windpipe, sending the Javelina only 20 yds from the point of impact, leaving a blood trail easier to follow then road construction signs........Thanks Muzzy for producing such a hard hitting, bone shattering, reliable broadhead!
