Swayze Bozeman (12 years old) got his first buck of the 2011/2012 this evening. He was in his tree ready to hunt at 4:17. At 4:38 he sent his dad a text that read "just smoked an 8 point". He shoots a Matthews Mission Craze. He took this deer with a 100 grain Muzzy MX3 broadhead (best broadhead ever!!!) on a Easton Flatline arrow that he fletch himself. We gave the deer a little over an hour before we began the search. He made a perfect shot but the deer was quartered to him a bit which made for a very long blood trail. We have a 11 year old Chesapeake Bay Retreiver (Clifford) that we used for blood trailing. We would have been there all night had it not been for a good tracking dog. 24" draw pulling 50lbs (+-203fps) and got a clean pass through. Muzzy.....BAD TO THE BONE!!!
