Great shot from about 50 yards away. It was a shot as dusk was rolling in. It was coming into a field and I tried to stalk in. The animal would not let me but about 50 yards away ,with my bow sight broken. I raised my bow and stared where I wanted the arrow to hit. The arrow sailed down the field and went in and landed right in the heart/lung area. It staggered about 20 yards and fell over. The guide asked how I did it. I told him, "Fred Bear showed me how." Because Fred did!!!! I had a one on one supper with him in 1981 in Kittery Maine when he visited the Kittery Trading Post aand I was the archery buyer.
