Well fellows went out this evening to my good buddy Robert Hogue's place to do a little Pig eradication! At 104 degrees is was not the pleasantist time being on stand but the fruits of the labor sure were good! After seeing 4 does and a yearling doe, after the feeder went off, they all boogered away so I sat quietly just waiting for the sun to go down and the moon to shine. All of the sudden the grunting and snorting started and about 10 or so 25 to 35 lbs'ers came flying in and suck that corn up like vaccum cleaners. AAAAWWWW what a site!
About then mommy shows up, guessing her around 175, I pick my bow up but am shaking too bad so I put it down and text Robert I got hogs!!!! Put the phone down and by now I am ready for a Smack Down with a Muzzy 4 blade......SHAZAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shot thru her so fast the littles was didn't know what happened. she ran over 3 of them leaving! She ran about 15 yards and I heard her pile up.DONE.
Now this is where it gets good. I put the bow up and text Robert again to tell him 1 hog down and guess what??? All the little ones come back......... Well Round 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I pull the fiddle back down, put another stick on the string, pick out the bigger boar of them all and you guessed it............ SHAZAAMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!! Number 2 goes to within 15 feet of mommy and expires. I would have to say even though it was HOT!!!! It was a Good Time.
