It was the morning of April 20th, 2010. I was on my way home from work when I saw a gobbler strutting in the field where I hunt. I rushed home and grabbed the bow and drove it like I stole it back to the property. I got out of the truck and run as fast as I could to the powerline that bordered the field. I eased my way down to the field and I didn't see him anywhere. I thought he saw me till I heard him gobble. He was only 60 yards away. He had 2 hens with him and they were both headed my way. He followed them closely. In about 5 minutes he was only 18 yards away. The hens kept him occupied enough to let me draw the bow. I took the shot and the Muzzy MX3 ate him for lunch. This is my first turkey with the bow. I was very suprised to see that he had some very unique coloration to him. He weighed 19 pounds, sported a 11" beard and 1/18 spurs. Thanks Muzzy for making such great broadheads.
