My youngest son Josh and I have hunted a lot together but had never taken a deer on the same day. On this hunt, I had spotted several deer about 80 yards away on a hill side and couldn't tell if they were bucks or does. I decided to use a doe bleat to call one within shooting range. Sure enough, a spike came to within 20 yards and I was able to make the shot. As I was tracking my deer, Josh called and told me he had just shot a buck! After we hauled mine to the truck, we tracked and found Josh's 3 point and he did a good job on his first time field dressing. Needless to say, we were both happy to have killed a buck on the same hunt. This is an experience that we will never forget. We both shoot Muzzy broadheads and they are always Bad to the Bone!
